Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2022

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH).  The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is an eligibility test for teachers which is held in 03 different levels including the Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). The exam is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates possessing required skills to teach as PRT / TGT & PGT  in the state run schools of Haryana State Government. Qualified candidates receive the  HTET certificate which is now valid for 07 Years. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring the HTET Certificate.Candidates who have already qualified HTET can appear once again to improve their score if so they desire.

HTET 2022 Educational Qualification for Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Level-I Primary Teacher (PRT) Classes I-VSenior Secondary with 50% Marks and Passed / Appearing in Final Year of 4 Year Diploma in Elementary Education B.El.Ed.ORSenior Secondary with 50% Marks and Passed / Appearing in Final Year of 4 Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).OR Senior Secondary with 50% Marks and Passed / Appearing in Final Year of 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education.OR Graduation and Passed / Appearing in Final Year of 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education. Matric with Hindi / Sanskrit as one of the Subjects in Sr.Secondary / Graduation / PG.
Level-II Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Class VI to VIIIBA / B.Com and 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education.ORBA / B.Com with 50% Marks and 2 Years Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).ORBA / B.Com with 45% Marks and 2 Years Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).ORSenior Secondary with 50% Marks and Passed / Appearing in Final Year of 4 Year Bachelor in Elementary Education B.El.Ed.ORBA / B.Com with 50% Marks and 2 Years Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). 
Level-III Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)Masters Degree in relevant subject with 50% Marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). 

Haryana TET 2022 Exam Pattern / Syllabus

There will be only one paper in this category. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark. There will be four alternatives out of which one will be the correct answer.  The total number of MCQ’s shall be 150 & Duration is 2 ½ Hours.

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy will mainly focus on Educational Psychology of teaching and learning to the age group of 6 to 11 years. They primarily focus on the Principles of the development of children, understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, Individual differences among learners, understanding differences based on a variety of language, caste, gender, community, religion etc interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.
  2. Language I will focus on the medium of Instruction, Learning and acquisition, Remedial Teaching, Principles of Language Teaching, Teaching-learning materials, Textbook, multi-media materials, multilingual resource of the classroom, Role of listening and speaking, the function of language and how children use it as a tool, Evaluating language comprehension and proficiency like speaking, listening, reading and writing.
  3. The Test items for Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning ability and Haryana GK and Awareness languages will focus on elements of Mental and Reasoning ability and General knowledge of Haryana State.
  4. Mathematics & Environmental Studies will focus on the Concepts, Problem solving abilities, Geometrical, Community Mathematics, Error Analysis  and pedagogical understanding of the subjects. In all these subject the concepts are evenly distributed over different divisions of the syllabus prescribed for classes I–V by the NCERT / State.

Haryana TET 2022 Qualifying Marks

Candidates who  score 60%  or  more  in  the  H-TET examination  will  be considered ‘HTET passed’  or ‘H-TET  qualified’.  This  will  be  the qualifying marks for all categories.

Negative Marking : There will be no Negative Marking.

The medium of question paper other than languages shall be in English & Hindi.

Haryana TET 2022 Application Filling Process

Candidates need to submit their HTET application form through online mode only on the official website (https://haryanatet.in/Login). Candidate needs to register first and then fill all the required credentials such as Name, Father Name, Address, Caste, Mobile Number, EMail Address and Educational Details. Candidates need to upload their Photograph, Certificates and complete the form and proceed to the online payment on the official website. Candidates can select the district of their test centre while filling the application form for the HTET exam.

Candidates can pay HTET examination fee through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking or by submitting Challan in the listed bank and take a printout of the submitted application form for future use.

 Haryana TET 2022 Admit Card Download

Once the Applications are scrutinised the department will issue Admit cards for appearing in the Test along with the Test Centre and other details. Candidates need to login on the official website and download their Admit Cards. No separate admit card will be sent to candidates by post.

 Haryana TET 2022 Result

The result for HTET will be declared on the official website (https://haryanatet.in). Candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the exam are declared pass and awarded the HTET certificate.
